Fall Dinner Crawl
ON-LINE TICKETS SALES HAVE ENDED, BUT TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR FOR $35.
Twenty-two of Edgewater's finest restaurants and 6 great businesses will be open for your enjoyment, some hosting music or other special festivities. Taste the flavors, experience the music, enjoy the shopping. It's a menu for a wonderful September evening in Edgewater.
Participating restaurants will offer samples of highlights from their menus for your dining enjoyment. As you nibble your way along, you will also enjoy a variety of musical performances, a dance party, an art exhibit, great shopping specials, and other highlights peppered amongst the food. All of these delectable treats for the eye, ears and tummy are included in the ticket price of $25.
The event runs from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and kicks off from the Starting Point, Loyola University's Simpson Room at 6333 N Winthrop. Your ticket will be held "will call" at the Starting Point. We encourage you to purchase tickets in advance, as quantities are limited.
The Edgewater Development Corporation is proud to present the Fall Dinner Crawl, in association with our sponsors and the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS: Uncommon Ground will feature their Green Room Session eco-mixer at which you will taste appetizers made from locally sourced products, be able to tour their green roof, and hear about other green/eco-friendly businesses. Dawghaus Cafe will have live music performances at their beautiful lakeside location in Berger Park on Granville and Sheridan. They will be serving their upside down sundae.
Loyola University is sponsoring a trolley to help you move along the Dinner Crawl route. Loyola is hard at work developing their bio-diesel program to produce fuel from used cooking oil. We hope that next year the trolley will be powered by this eco-friendly fuel.
Loyola is also hosting an exhibit of art produced by artists with ties to Loyola, which you can view at Loyolas new state-of-the art Fine Arts Building, 1131 W. Sheridan.
Fig Media is hosting a DJ Lounge with music spun by their talented professional DJs to help you "get your groove on" and dance away the calories. Fig Media is also hosting Terry's Toffee, who will distribute their famous toffee to give you energy and dance inspiration! Terrys Toffee is an Edgewater original that was honored to be included in the goody bag at the Academy Awards, but you don't need to be a movie star to enjoy these taste sensations. Visit their outlet at the Andersonville Galleria, 5247 N Clark Street.
Many businesses will be open and offering treats and specials to Dinner Crawl participants. Participating businesses include the Broadway Antique Market (10% off purchases over $20), Edgewater Athletic Club (free one-week trial membership), Fig Media, Nova Fragrances (20% off), Nova Shoes (20% off), Soothe Your Senses Day Spa ($15 manicures and chair massages), and True Nature Foods.
LOGISTICS: Directions to all the venues will be included in the Dinner Crawl Passport, which you pick-up at the Starting Point and serves as your ticket to each venue. There is a trolley stop at the Starting Point or you can set off on foot, as many stops are located close to the Starting Point. The trolley will also stop at designated locations along the Crawl route to whisk you along to your next destination.
Parking is available for $7 at the Loyola Parking Structure at 1110 W Sheridan, across the street from the Starting Point. To access the parking lot, turn north from Sheridan Road onto Kenmore and this short drive will circle around to the parking structure entrance.
You can also access the Starting Point with the eco-friendly CTA bus and rail options. The Starting Point is a short walk from both the Granville and Loyola stations on the Red Line. The following bus lines also stop steps from the Starting Point: 36 Broadway, 147 Express, 151 Sheridan, and the 155 Devon.
Dont miss this spectacular evening of food, fun and eco-friendly highlights. Edgewater awaits you this September 25th.
