Were dang excited to announce our 5th annual PRIDE EDITION of Queers & Beers! WOW, it's been so amazing to see how much our party has grown and what amazing event everyone has made! To celebrate our FIFTH BIRTHDAY were here to make all your day-drinking-dreams come true!
We had so so so much FUN at our new location during our summer event >> were gonna do it again!!! Meet ya at THE CLUBHOUSE ~ 238 E 1ST AVE ~ same amazing people and a massive outdoor space for ya to soak up the all that sunshine! Chill vibes & fun times

THE BUDDY SYSTEM:
The Buddy System is a grassroots effort to combat rape culture and enhance the safety of our queer events. CONSENT IS SEXY -- AND MANDATORY! Oppressive attitudes and behaviour -- including but not limited to misogyny, transphobia, racism, fatphobia, and ableism -- are not welcome here. The Buddy System will be in effect at Queers & Beers. Buddies will be wearing **NEON T-SHIRTS**. Our Buddies are NARCAN trained, and are carrying sealed water bottles, condoms, lube, granola bars, tampons, and more. They will run interference if someone is receiving unwanted attention, can help someone find a way home and generally serve as go-to support people should any problems arise.
ACCESSIBILITY INFO:
Accessibility: Ground floor entrance with 4ft wide doorway, washrooms are located up a flight of 10 steps with a handrail to the right. An accessible portable washroom will be on site on the ground floor, and washrooms will be all genders. Parking lot patio is ground level and flat. One small area of the parking lot is only accessible by a 2in step, the majority of the venue is accessible by wheelchair. Please email queersandbeersvancity@gmail.com with any questions.
Considering the nature of the venue, an arts space which has artists using various chemical-based mediums in the studio spaces, we are unable to offer a scent-reduced space at this time.
This event takes place on unceded Indigenous land belonging to the Coast Salish peoples. This includes the territories of the Musqueam, Skxwú7mesh-ulh, & Tsleil-Waututh nations.
