Dox Modern Middle
Dox Modern Middle is a play exploring Jewish-American Queer identity. Drawing on drag, video, and dance, it follows Raphaela, a young modern-orthodox Jew who is outed and sent to Israel to heal for the summer. While overseas, she finds healing - but it is far from the process her family intended. This reading is an opportunity to hear the play out loud for the first time, and will be followed with a talkback with the audience centered on audience responses to the play.
A play by Megan Pope Directed by Aaron Simon Gross
