Clinard Dance Theatre
Clinard's dance theatre work is rooted in the art of flamenco, incorporating painting and sculpture to create vignettes intended to awaken our astonishment, questioning, grief, and compassion in this climate of war. Jondo is a branch of flamenco; it is slow, heavy, and its lyrics are concerned with death and loss. Post-show reception after Saturday's performance.
