Beginning Fan Dance Series (Beyond Basic Burlesque)
A two-part course on fan dance with Miss Mina, New England's Queen of the Fans. Students may take each section individually or take both together. B.A.B.E. can provide the fans, (marabou, 11" x 20", 21 staves, pictured at left), for $25 a pair. Please register for fans by July 2nd.
Introduction to Fan Dance
Wednesdays, July 10, 17, 24, 6:00-7:00pm
In this three-week course, students will learn the basic principles and moves of fan dance, using small marabou fans.
Fan Dance Routine
Wednesdays, August 7, 14, 21, 6:00-7:00pm
Over three weeks students will learn a complete burlesque routine using small marabou fans incorporating the techniques learned in Introduction to Fan Dance.
