Shakespeare in the Ruff is proud to present
The Winters Tale (2019) written by William Shakespeare Directed by Sarah Kitz
August 14th to September 2nd
Performances TuesdaySunday *Special Labour Day Performance Monday, September 2nd*
Shakespeare in the Ruff brings one of Shakespeares most transformative plays, The Winters Tale, to Withrow Park. Moving from darkness to light, The Winters Tale magically explores forgiveness, repentance, and how we come together. Bring a picnic, meet a neighbour, and experience a summers night between the trees and beneath the stars.
Tickets are Pay-What-You-Can in the park.
Rain Plan In case of rain, we will continue the performance until it is no longer deemed safe, in which case, you will be given a voucher to come back on another night. If you are unsure, check for rain up-dates here. On August 31st and Sept 1st only, in the event of rain, we have an indoor venue: Eastminster United Church (310 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4K 1N6). We will be announcing any venue changes on Twitter.
The Winters Tale is made possible with generous support from Crows Theatre
