2019 Fall Growing Groceries
This six week class is the companion to our Spring Growing Groceries class. Classes can be taken in any order.
Our popular Fall Growing Groceries class is taught by seasoned Master Gardeners who specialize in growing food. Fall topics cover winter and early spring cultivation practices, growing fruits, soil improvement, permaculture, seed saving, & food preservation.
Classes are held on Mondays, 2:00 - 5:00 PM, 9/16 - 10/28. There are 2 additional field trips: tour a permaculture farm on 9/24 and orchard and small fruits tour on 10/21. Please note that Monday 10/21 is Orchard and Small Fruit field trip, so if you purchased the class-only option, there will be no class that day.
It is our goal to make this class accessible to all. Scholarships are available by request. Please contact Bridget Gregg at 360-379-5610 x 210.
