The Murry-March Neighborhood Association is hosting an evening of immersive storytelling, music, and connection by Tacoma's own songwriter & storyteller, Shannon Curtis.
Please join us for this exclusive benefit concert on Sat. July 6th, as part of her 2019 Revolutionary Acts of Optimism House Concert Tour.
A Shannon Curtis house concert is one part emotionally resonant original music and one part immersive storytelling, which come together to create an open-hearted and connective community experience. This season, she'll be taking us on a journey exploring the revolutionary power of optimism. When an unsatisfactory status quo requires only our cynicism to keep us from living our best lives, optimism is an act of revolution. We can't wait to share this special night with you.
Please arrive at 6:30pm for pre-concert social time. We'll be taking our seats for the concert to begin promptly at 7:30pm.
How much are tickets? Ticket prices start at $20/each minimum and are sold on a "what feels right to you" donation basis. This event is a fundraiser to help offset legal fees incurred by neighbors defending against the CubeSmart litigation. Guests are encouraged to contribute whatever amount feels right to help with this important cause and with giving back to the residents who have worked so hard to defend the neighborhood.
If you'd like to contribute more to this cause, you can contribute through "additional donations" when you purchase your tickets. No additional ticket fees are added to guest donations. We're working hard to raise the funds for the important work the neighborhood is doing, so we are so grateful for your additional contributions!
How many tickets are available? This will be an exclusive and intimate event. Only 50 tickets are available, so be sure to get yours before we sell out for this incredible and personal event!
Can I bring my kids / pets? In order to achieve the focused and immersive experience they work to create during the concert, we request that there be no pets or children in attendance. Young adults over the age of 10 who are able to sit silently for an uninterrupted 75-minute performance are welcome.
