Chuck Shaw
Chuck Shaw was born and raised in New Jersey and, soon after high school, made his way across the United States to study country music in Colorado, and then moved on to play in Wyoming, Arizona, and Nashville. We are lucky to have met Chuck as he grew up on North Haven during the summertimes. Now, he calls Texas "home". He draws inspiration for his music from that state. About country music, he says "Its a great American art form. I love how it sounds the fiddle, the pedal steel and how it feels. They know that down where I live, but when I play somewhere else, where people only know that mainstream pop country, I explain to them: This is how we do it in Texas. This is country music.
