Eric Strickland and the B Sides represent the perfect fusion of five individual musicians that live and breathe real honkytonk music. Jimmy Matthews, on the drums, possesses a fearless backbone which lays the foundation for the B Sides. A honkytonker, in it's truest fashion, he transforms the simplicity of his drum kit into a solid pocket of rhythmic flow. Bill Lamm, on bass guitar, adds global knowledge of life and music to the fold. He is the epitome of country soul. Gary Braddy, on acoustic guitar, harmonica, and vocals is the most versatile of the B Sides. His acoustic guitar playing solidifies the rhythm section and his bluesy harmonica brings a uniquely raw vibe. B.J. Barbour on steel guitar is quickly becoming a master of swells and dives. His playing sets the tone for what real country music is supposed to sound like. Eric Strickland, from Four Oaks, North Carolina, is the corner stone of the B Sides' creativity. His unwavering vocals, solid songmanship, and Waylon-esque guitar stylings pave the way for an indisputable, genuine honkytonk experience.
