David Amram Quintet returns to Tompkins Corners
David Amram, composer, conductor and multi-instrumentalist, returns to Tompkins Corners for an evening of jazz, classical, blues and world music favorites. David will be joined by Kevin Twigg (drums), Rene Hart (bass), Adam Amram and Elliot Peper (percussionists).
From the 60s until the present, Amram, who has composed more than one hundred orchestral and chamber music works and written many scores for Broadway theater and film, has criss-crossed the world, guest-conducting his symphonic and operatic works in Europe and Canada as well as performing with people in every other type of gig imaginable, including playing Farm Aid with Willie Nelson.
