Folk All Y'all: An Evening with David Wilcox
Cleveland-born David Wilcox is a father, a husband, a citizen and a songwriter. First inspired to play guitar after hearing a fellow college student playing in a stairwell, Wilcox is now 18 records into a career marked by personal revelation and wildly loyal fans. His lyrical insight is matched by a smooth baritone voice, virtuosic guitar chops, and creative open tunings, giving him a range and tenderness rare in folk music.
David was the first artist Folk All Y'all reached out to host, way back in 2014. After that first (more-than-)sold-out show, David's come back and played five more. We're thrilled to welcome David Wilcox to our first concert at The Green Room at Crosstown Arts, a space that has inspired him for years.
About Folk All Y'all: Our mission is to present world-class singer-songwriters in an intimate, attentive environment. Our guests and artists are here to connect and do not distract themselves or other guests with photography, recording, or other diversions during the show. We are entirely volunteer-run and 100% of ticket sales go directly to the artist.
