San Francisco Choral Artists Season Subscription
Subscription Tickets for San Francisco Choral Artists 2008-09 concerts. The Subscription Season includes 3 concert sets. Each concert repeats at venues in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and Oakland. Subscription Tickets may be used at any venue.
DECEMBER concert set: SEVEN CENTURIES OF CHRISTMAS: Join us for time travel through seven centuries of Christmas celebrations! MARCH concert set: A WHOLE LOTTA NOYSE: SFCA collaborates with celebrated Early Music wind band The Whole Noyse for music for voices and instruments, featuring a wide range of Medieval and Renaissance music. We bring these sounds into the present with new works for voices and shawms, sackbuts, and cornetti. World premieres.

JUNE concert set: RE-CYCLE, RE-VIEW, SING NEW! How do composers take materials at hand to fashion something new? Whether borrowed or stolen, for fun or propaganda, or desperate when deadlines loom, composers exploit existing resources, recycling tunes and texts in new forms. Featuring winners of our 5th New Voices contest for composers under 30.
