SHOW: Love's Labour's Lost
One of Shakespeare's wittiest plays, Love's labours lost focuses on the playful nature of love. The King and his friends take an oath to dedicate themselves to a life of study and avoid the company of women for three years. No sooner have they made their pledge than the Princess of France and her ladies-in-waiting arrive, presenting the men with a severe test of their high-minded resolve.

Join The Shakespeare Company for our annual Bard In the Yard event. On Saturday July 13 or Sunday July 14 and enjoy an intimate 60 minute backyard performance of Love's Labour's Lost for our 14th annual summer event.

Saturday, July 13th arrive after 5.30 PM - an opportunity to have some beer or wine before during and after, mingle with cast and fellow audience members, and have a bite to eat too. Tickets are $80. An approximately $60 tax receipt will be issued.

Sunday, July 14th arrive after 11.45am - co-hosted with the Commanderie de Bordeaux, a chance to enjoy some of the fine wine from their cellars, learn a bit about what you're drinking from the experts, and settle in for a leisurely summer afternoon lunch after the show. Tickets are $145. An approximately $60 tax receipt will also be issued.
