MuseBird Cafe W/Linda Nicole Blair, Wes Sp8 & Mary De La Fuente
Linda Nicole Blair - from Port Orchard, WA is a solo acoustic talent, performing Original Americana Folk style music. Music has been at the center of her life since she can remember. Early influences include Karla Bonoff, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell: many other female singer songwriters since then have shaped her taste in music: Lucinda William, Patty Griffin, Emmylou Harris, Mia Borders, Caroline Herring, Susan Cowsill, Lynn Drury, Shannon McNally, Amy Mann, and Brandi Carlile. This list is actually pretty endless- including the Beatles, the Stones, and the women of the early blues movement, such as Memphis Minnie. She writes Americana music, rooted in her life experiences. Many of her songs tell stories, and they are all different; She doesn't write in just one style-- variety of music, from country to soul. In short, she is a work in progress and she hopes you like what you hear. Little Queenie was released on her birthday in 2016, and No Limits, her second album, was released in October of 2017. She is currently writing and recording songs for her next record, due out in the spring of 2019. Her style continues to evolve! Wes Sp8 - Wes Speight (stylized as Sp8), a Seattle singer/songwriter originally from Tennessee, has played many of the venues in Seattle WA and Nashville TN and has toured to places such as Vancouver BC, Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Texas, New York, Spain, Italy and France. His music varies widely from Americana to Bluesy to Rock. With songs ranging from longings for love to seeking moments beyond the boundaries.
Mary De La Fuente - a former Professional Race Horse Jockey turned Musician has been playing venues in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and Washington including several other states for the last 24 years. She was born into a musical and farming family in Mount Vernon Washington. Her Mother a Professional drummer at the Starlight in California. After the race industry she met Steve Tunison a phenomenal lead guitarist, vocalist who played with the likes of Dolly Parton, Chet Atkins etc....He taught her guitar and the played together for 18 years. He passed away in 2013, since then she has played here at The Conway Muse and many venues in Washington and is currently playing in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming plus working on a long awaited CD with the songs that she and Steve wrote and is collaborating several new songs with other musicians from Colorado, Montana, Texas and Las Vegas. Her sound is a southern swampy blues.
