Dimensions Dance Theater's Rites of Passage presents...Summer Youth Festival
Dimensions Dance Theater's Rites of Passage dance education program presents its annual Summer Youth Festival on Sunday, July 28 at 3pm at the Malonga Casquelourd Center for the Arts.
This annual production is a must see. We have many new, motivated students who cannot wait to demonstrate all that the have learned in six short weeks. Now, that may sound like a long time, but each class on meets once a week, so they really only have about 8 hours total to learn and prepare for their performance on July 28.
This year's performance features Guinea, jazz, hip hop, ballet, Afro-Cuban, modern, house, Haitian, Dunham Technique, and tap dance forms.
We will also have a bake sale fundraising to support scholarships and productions fees for the fall and spring sessions.
Dimensions' staff looks forward to each production because the students never cease to amaze us. Please come out and uplift these students with your encouraging applause and cheers as they need our community's support in these times.
