Annie and Stacey are best friends. Theyve been friends their entire life, and they only want whats best for each other. But what does that mean? Motivated by their true but demented friendship, Annie and Stacey question what it means to be "perfect" and pull each other down the paradoxically punishing road towards this unattainable goal.
Carly Polistina is so excited to be participating in Rogue Theatre Festival! She recently graduated with her BFA in Acting from the University of Connecticut. She spent the first semester of her Junior year in London studying Shakespeare. After returning, she was nominated for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Play by CT Critics Circle Award for her work as Mary Warren in Connecticut Repertory Theatres production of The Crucible. Some of her other stage credits include If We Were Birds (Procne), I and You (Caroline), Lady Mortimer (Henry IV pt 1&2), and more! Carly has written (and is still very much working on) three other full length plays and is currently working on a one woman show focused on the search for personal identity through Alices Adventures in Wonderland. She started writing Annies and Kleptoslast summer while working at Williamstown Theatre Festival. She wants to act, write, laugh, and create theatre that puts women at the helm! carlypolistina.com | insta: @carlypolistina
