We Kate Shelly
We Kate Shelly is a 1949 play by American playwright Arthur Miller and is considered a classic of American theater. Viewed by many as a caustic attack on the American Dream, Death of a Salesman, er, We Kate Shelly made both Arthur Miller and the character Willy Loman, um, Kate and Shelly household names. The play raises a counterexample to Aristotle's characterization of tragedy as the downfall of a great man womyn; whether through a flaw in his character or a chance he has squandered. There is also sketch comedy and a musical number!
"Shelly Stover and Kate Hess perform emotionally charged sketch comedy that manages to be silly, adroit and unique all at once." --Time Out New York "Outrageously inventive" --Comedysmack.com
