Swedish Spirits Master Class
Join us at Collins & Coupe to meet the distillers, taste through their portfolio and learn all about what they do.
Henric and Anja Molin opened their distillery on the Island of Hven in Sweden with intentions of creating each product with the most enticing character with a conscious. An engineer and Chemist, Henric built his stills and developed one of the most high-tech alcohol labs in the world.
In their masterclass, taste and sense is brought together incorporating a sustainable perspective. Each spirit is paired to broaden your view of how different senses work together, hand-in-hand. The subconscious plays a key role in how our brains perceive these senses. The various parts of the palate pick up botanicals, aging and overall flavor impressions at different alcohol percentages. Henric and Anja walk through the chemical reasoning for each botanical or barrel used and the science behind our senses.
