Rise Above Book Club: Clarity

Who doesn't want greater clarity? Who doesn't NEED greater clarity? The problem is we tend to approach the need for clarity by overthinking and worrying. What works far better is letting go of that and creating stillness inside to listen to the wisdom in you that is always present. That seems like an impossible task these days. We are so busy and distracted. Clarity requires stillness, quiet, and inner peace. That is the focus of this workshop... inner peace while you are here so the wisdom inside of you can float to the surface of your consciousness.

For a couple of hours, allow the stress, worry, to-do lists, expectations, and obligations to melt away while you give yourself the space and time to gain clarity through discussion, a guided visualization, and easy paint practice that I will walk you through step-by-step. I guarantee that if you allow yourself to be still inside and trust the process, what you put on the canvas will give you clarity about whatever is weighing on your mind.

Each session of the Rise Above Club uses Whitney Freya's book, Rise Above: Free Your Mind One Brushstroke at a TIme as it's starting point. I include breathwork and a meditation to ground us, discussion of the featured chapter, time to paint,, and meaningful conversation in a supportive space. I promise... no art experience is needed. Come for one session or come for many! You are always welcome.
