Before there was Blackfish, there was Free Willy. In celebration of Orca Action Month happening throughout June in Oregon and Washington join international environmental organization Whale and Dolphin Conservation at the Whiteside Theatre to revisit this classic 90s film and discover why its still relevant today. This story about families of all kinds has a surprising connection to orcas found off the Oregon Coast, a unique and critically endangered population with a compelling tail of their own. Who are the Southern Resident orcas, and what can we do to help save them?
