Tracy Burns, Improv Comedy Weekend
Mendocino Stories & Music Series is pleased to announce the return of Tracy Burns and her signature brand of improvised comedy on Friday and Saturday, August 23 & 24. This improv show will be open and loose with very little structure, having the feeling of a Second Citystyle show, which means improvising scenes that weave in and out of each other. The shows start at 8:00PM at the Hill House of Mendocino.
Tracy Burns - former Mendonesian, HRT alumnus, now lives in L.A., teaches improv and acting at Pixar and Dreamworks, as well as performing and teaching with many improv groups in the U.S. and Europe.
Allen Simpson - composer, songwriter, improv accompanist, wrote a song for the Simpsons, which aired on March 5, teaches musical improv at Dreamworks and Pixar (as well as acting).
David Razowsky - brilliant improviser, former artistic director of Second City, performs and teaches all over the world, has worked with many comedy luminaries including Steve Carrell, Stephen Colbert and Tina Fey. You can listen to his great podcast (Tracy's on an episode) A.D.D. Comedy with David Razowsky (download it from itunes).
Dinner menu and full bar are available as soon as the doors open at 6:00PM.
