Beethoven at 250, Part One
In 2020, the musical world will celebrate the 250th birthday of Ludwig van Beethoven, the bedrock of the Bluff Series since its inception. Over the next two seasons, much of Beethoven's solo piano and chamber music will be re-visited; in this concert, PSO Principal Cellist Anne Martindale Williams joins David Allen Wehr for Beethoven's first and last cello-piano sonatas. Three members of Duquesne's voice faculty present chamber music with voice by Schubert and Brahms.
