South End Heritage Festival
During the day, participants can attend a FREE community festival that partners with local businesses, organizations, and neighborhood groups as vendors, maker-spaces, workshops, live music, and activity booths that engage residents in free, public activities all day. During the night, this event teams up with multiple venues up and down Rainier Avenue to host a music festival that will serve to define Hillman City, Columbia City, and the entirety of Rainier Valley as one of the most dynamic and culturally artistic areas in the city. One ticket will grant entry into any participating venue to listen to music all night long!
There are many events that help elevate the voices of culture in this city. There are few events that culminate the respective cultures to define a collective culture. This festival serves South Seattle residents an event that encourages pride in one's heritage and traditions, as well as pride in the fusion of culture that takes place when we are able to safely and respectfully celebrate ourselves.
