Beginning at an early age, Talitha McDougall Jones fell in love with the world of Musical Theatre at eleven years old when she began working at Theatre Aspen in a summer repertory production of Annie. Since then, she has pursued her passion for performing by studying at the Manhattan School of Music, currently a rising senior. She is on track to receive her Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre in May of 2020. This semester, she had the pleasure of playing Fraulein Kost in MSMs mainstage production of Cabaret, revised and in collaboration with John Kander. Additionally, Ms. Jones has appeared with renowned artists such as Megan Hilty at Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops and Essential Voices USA, as well as worked with highly acclaimed directors and choreographers such as David Loud, Don Stephenson, Lorna Ventura, and Liza Gennaro. She is a vocal student of Samuel Mckelton (soprano), and enjoys playing unique and comedic characters. Playwriting has recently sparked an interest in her life as she wants to be able to create her own work in addition to performing in other people's. After graduation next year, Talitha plans to continue living in New York City, auditioning, continuing to write, and doing what she can to make her mark on the NYC theatre scene. She is incredibly excited to be a part of this year's Rogue Theatre Festival at the 13th Street Repertory Company, and thanks all of her team who made it happen as well as her friends and mentors who inspire and encourage her.
