Still, Birth. - a play about pregnancy loss. A taboo subject for centuries, this play seeks to open the lines of communication between those who have been touched by pregnancy loss in any form and on any level. The play is co-written/in development by Robyne Parrish and Coley Campany who are members of the Labyrinth Theatre Ensemble 2014 - LAB NYC. It was at this intensive that Parrish and Campany discovered they shared similar experiences in and around pregnancy loss and commenced writing about them. Following the LAB mission to guide them in their work, Parrish and Campany seek to make the Still, Birth ensemble a group of: "diverse, impassioned and multi-cultural artists that empower individuals and build community". Women and men alike who have struggled with pregnancy loss in any form and on any level should have a platform through which to express their grief and healing. Parrish and Campany seek to shine a light on the subject and invite conversation to empower and explore.
