Strident Series: Little Boots
Desperate to create a better future for herself, Esperanza "Little Boots" Gutierrez enlists in the U.S. Army and is shipped off to Iraq. Before she can return to American soil, though, Little Boots faces a deep betrayal at the hands of her fellow soldiers, and finds that her dreams, goals, and very personhood may be shattered irreparably.
