The Friends of Georgetown History presents, ACT OUT, a storytelling workshop in four parts.
One ticket - Four Sessions: $40
Sunday afternoons 2pm to 3:30pm

July 21: Finding Your Story You will get to see where our stories come from, learn about how storytelling is theater, and engage your imagination by choosing an historic story creating your own story outline.
July 28 : Research Your Story You will use various methods of looking into each of your selected stories including using the Seattle Library System. Bring your library card and laptop.
August 4: Spectacle! (Music, Scenery, Costume, Props, Lights, Effects, Movement) You will share the first drafts of your story. We will then discuss how adding music, props and movement can enhance your story outline.
August 11: The Storyteller is YOU! Our final session will be a collaborative performance. Bring along props and music invite your family and friends.
