What can the Older Adults Needs Assessment 2019 tell us?
Between October 2018 and February 2019, the City of Edmonton conducted the Older Adults Needs Assessment to understand the needs of older adults in our community. The research focused on issues specific to the needs of older adults in Edmonton, including participation in activities, volunteering, technology use, intergenerational connectedness, social isolation and loneliness, safety and financial security, aging-in-place, and ageism.
ESCCs June conversation cafe will highlight key sections of the report and provide an opportunity for you to dig deeper into how this information can be relevant to your organization and the seniors you serve via programs, services, and organizational policies.
Note:
Parking is available in the lot west of the Ital-Canadian Seniors Drop-In Centre (9111 110 Avenue). Overflow parking is available in the Commonwealth Stadium Parking Lot.
