Robert Crais at Boswell for A Dangerous Man
#1 New York Times bestselling writer Robert Crais returns to Milwaukee with his latest Elvis Cole and Joe Pike thriller, A Dangerous Man. In Crais's latest, Joe Pike is doing some errands when he finds himself stopping the abduction of a bank teller. But that's only the beginning of the story. Soon the teller has gone missing and the abductors are dead. Only Pike and his longtime collaborator Elvis Cole can uncover the truth. Join us Sunday, August 11, 3 pm, at Boswell. This event is cosponsored by Crimespree Magazine.
Registration has closed for this event, but we have enough room for you to attend. A selection of Robert Crais's novels will be available for sale at this event.
Robert Crais's previous visits, both to Mystery One and Harry W. Schwartz Bookshops, were highlights of the Milwaukee mystery season. We're excited to welcome Crais to Boswell for his first Elvis Cole and Joe Pike novel in two years. And we're even more thrilled that Crais will be in conversation with Nick Petrie, the Milwaukee-based author of the Peter Ash novels, including The Drifter and Tear It Down.
Robert Crais is the author of 21 previous novels, sixteen of them featuring private investigator Elvis Cole and his laconic ex-cop partner, Joe Pike. Before writing his first novel, Crais spent several years writing scripts for such major television series as Cagney and Lacey, Miami Vice, and Baretta. He received an Emmy nomination for his work on Hill Street Blues, and one of his stand-alone novels, Hostage, was made into a movie starring Bruce Willis. Register at craismke.bpt.me and mark your calendar for Sunday, August 11, 3 pm, at Boswell.
*That's $23.65 - we'll absorb the ticketing fee.
