About the performers:
Kelsie Anderson
Kelsie Anderson is the creator of Comedic Pursuits, an online community where you can find and share information about comedy with everyone, with the goal of making your comedic pursuit more accessible. Kelsie is also a stand-up, sketch, and improv performer, and can be seen performing around the DMV.
Oona MacDougall
Oona MacDougall is a comedian and artist that combines her musical inclinations with narrative to over-analyze herself, and the world around her, but in a fun, self-effacing way! Instagram: @bigfootbjorge
Shawn Fisher
Shawn Fisher is a DC-based comedian and performance artist, who's been lucky enough to showcase her talents North, South, and yes - even West of the Mall. Her mix of storytelling, genuine curiosity in everyone and everything, and her screwball physicality, allow her to connect with all audiences - and they with her - with humor, vulnerability and truth. Catch her on Instagram and Twitter at @iamscgfisher for her latest show information
Gina Brown
Gina Brown is an actor, comedian, writer, and performing artist that splits her time between Washington, DC, and New York City. Gina has a residency at Broadway Comedy Club in NYC, is the author of Teeth Should Not Be Optional (available on Amazon), is in several films, and you may have seen her on BuzzFeed's Cocoa Butter Mother's Day Fried Chicken video, which she won!
Nik Snow
Comedian Nik Snow has performed all over the DMV, from as far north as Broadway comedy club in Manhattan, New York, to as far south as Richmond, Virginia. She is also (for the second year) the Host Comedian for TMS Entertainment's Uncnzrd DC Black Pride 2019 Comedy Show, performing at Lost Society and XX Crostino for HYSTERIXX Comedy. Nik is a mother of one handsome adopted 8 year old son (who is also a comedian by nature).
Nik gets most of her material from her son, and, just like any of comedian, from life experiences. What you should know most about Nik Snow is, despite her health challenges, she remains optimistic, and will perform stand up anywhere as long as her health permits. Nik has rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, two herniated discs, and a rare disease known as optic nerve driven. Nik often makes jokes about how having handicap parking is the best perk of having such diagnoses. She says, "being diagnosed with two autoimmune disease made me start living, finally getting off my ass and performing as a stand-up comedian!" So cheers to T Author (as she infectiously refers to Rheumatoid arthritis)!
Katie Zane
Katie Zane is a Chicago-based comic, originally hailing from Woodbridge, Virginia, is riddled with disease, and finds the funny in the darker things. She can be found all over Chicago, from IO Theater to Laugh Factory.
Andie Basto
Andie Basto is a proud first-generation queer latina and stand-up comedian. As bilingual as she is bisexual, her unique perspective has delighted audiences up and down the East Coast. She was recently featured in Washington Post Magazine, and performed at Mad Ethnic Comedy Festival in Philadelphia. Once a month, she co-produces Jokes That Give Back, an intersectional comedy show for charity at the Drafthouse Comedy Theater in Washington, D.C. You can follow her cat's antics on Instagram (@ndie_b) or read her subtweets on the internet (@ndieIsOnline).
Elizabeth Norman
Elizabeth Norman is a Baltimore-based comedian. Elizabeth has performed at Artscape, Bentzen Ball, DC Comedy Festival, and was a finalist in Magooby's Joke House Comedian of the Year Competition in 2018.
