Join us as Washington Post's Geoff Edgers discusses why and shares rare footage of the March, 1986 recording session that brought Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Joe Perry together with rap's first supergroup. He and local Chicago rapper, Chore Boy, will dispel the myths surrounding the song and reveal how Edgers managed to speak with such figures as L.L. Cool J, Rick Rubin, Steven Tyler, Rev. Geoff Edgers is a journalist and author. He is the national arts reporter for The Washington Post, hosts the Edge of Fame podcast, and his work has appeared in GQ, Spin, and The Boston Globe, among others. He also produced and starred in the 2010 documentary Do It Again, and he is the author of multiple childrens books about The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Stan Lee, and Julia Child. He lives in Concord, MA. with his family.
