OUR NONPROFIT WORK
This 57-member multi-generational troupe of volunteers includes artists, performers, educators, and musicians travels together every summer, bringing live performances, free workshops, and community service to small towns across America.
In Seward, we will be putting on two shows at Spring Creek Correctional Facility as well as workshops, and will be performing for the elders at Providence Mountain Haven Nursing Home. We will also be offering a battery of fun free events on Thursday, June 28th, including circus skills workshops open to the community at the high school from 3:30-5:30pm, a parade from the Harbormaster's Office to downtown from 6:00-7:00pm, and a community potluck open to the general public at Temple Studios at 7:00pm.
HONORING MARY LANGHAM
The "Be Mary" tour celebrates the life and legacy of longtime Alaskan Mary Langham, an artist, circus founder and educator, mother, teacher, doctor, writer, Chautauqua Tour Organizer, and just an all-around joyfully dynamic person. Eight members of her family, including three of her children, a grandchild, and her husband, will be part of this journey.
