Set in a remote village where church and mosque stand side by side, the towns women unite to try to keep their men from starting a religious war, using fake miracles and even hiring a troop of Ukrainian strippers. A strong balancing act of farce, sentimentality and musical numbers has audiences rooting for a lasting peace.
