Colin Cunliffe presents, "It's a Gay, Gay World."
The show is part of the Pangea Pride festival which runs from June 10th through June 30th.
A night of song answering the question, "What does the gay world mean to you?"
Performers from Broadway and off, uptown and down, come together to celebrate what it is to be Queer. Colin Cunliffe is joined by a fancy family of homos and their allies answering, through song, the question "What does the gay world mean to you?" Lance Horne on piano collaborates with some of the finest voices in the city to create an evening of community, entertainment and inspiration. Ticket sale proceeds from the evening go to Rainbow Railroad, a non government organization helping LGBTQI people as they seek safe haven from state-enabled violence, murder or persecution.
Colin Cunliffe was most recently seen performing in New York City Center's production of "High Button Shoes." Broadway performing credits include "Cats" and the original Broadway casts of "Finding Neverland", "Pippin" (2013 Tony Award. Best Revival), "Evita" (Revival), "The Addams Family" and "Cry-Baby". National Tours include "Sweet Charity", "The Boyfriend" and "Fame". Other favorites- "West Side Story" (Philly Award Nomination), "How to Succeed in Business"... at the Kennedy Center and "I am Harvey Milk" at Avery Fisher Hall.
