Jefferson MRC Crabbing 101 Program June 26
Come learn all about Washington State crabbing regulations, listen to seasoned crabbers discuss their tricks of the trade and watch demonstrations of proper crab pot rigging practices.
Date: June 26, 2019, 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Location: WSU Extension Classroom, 97 Oak Bay Rd, Port Hadlock
PROGRAM SPEAKERS:
Rich Childers, WDFW, will talk about state regulations, size limits, life history and managing the fishery
Troy McKelvey, seasoned crabber, will talk about the tricks of the trade and tried and true best rigging practices
Don Williams, serving on Crab Advisory Committee for WDFW Commission, will give tips about crabbing from the shore or dock and also add to WDFW policy perspective.
