I'm A Father Under Construction.
Even in their absence, we all feel the impact of our fathers. Sometimes, we have to search outside of our own family to find the mentorship and guidance we need from a father-figure. Separation, trauma, the passage into adulthood, and especially parenting, can make us reflect on the expectations we have of the person we call father.
I'm a Father (under construction) is a collaborative performance project exploring the idea of fathers and fatherhood primarily through the LGBTQ lens produced by 53212 Presents, Inc.

53212 presents is a management team providing access to affordable rehearsal and performance space, and production support for artists, performing arts groups, and youth partner organizations primarily from 53212, with the goal of increasing access to the artistic products of the 53212 community.
