Hotel Sandford Building Tour | 8.20

One of the rare surviving hotels built to coincide with the 1915 Panama-California Exposition in Balboa Park, the recently restored Hotel Sandford will be open for a special AIA tour on Tuesday, August 20th.

Meet the architects and operators of the 130-room hotel used by the Housing Commission for downtown seniors. Learn about the building's history and the award-winning $3.5 million restoration.

Reception starts at 6:00pm.
$5 for AIA members & $10 for non-members.

Located at 1301 5th Avenue. Adjacent street parking may be available (free after 6:00pm). Nearby paid parking lot at 5th and Ash.
