New Forum Feminist Film Shorts
An evening of short films + discussion by Calgary filmmakers from the 1990s to present.
Sharon Stevens (3 films) an multi award-winning media artist and activist, is an instigator whos made a career of integrating art, activism, feminism, and social justice into a series of projects that enlighten, enliven and entertain.
Khrysta Lloren (2 films) Nofac3 is a drag artist and filmmaker who lives and works in Calgary, Alberta. She works with different mediums such as film, drag, painting, sculpture, installation and other mixed media to create subversive content that explore concepts of identity construction, anonymity and queer theory in the age of new media.
Michelle Dyer (1 film) Social advocacy and helping others through the arts is a key focus of her arts practice. She completed a dual master's degree in counselling psychology and art therapy and is a Certified Canadian Counsellor (C.C.C.) and Professional Art Therapist. Michelle is currently working in private practice as a counsellor and art therapist, facilitating art workshops to support people with mental and physical health barriers, one of four directors/producers of an incorporated film production company (Backpocket Dreams Inc.),
