Imperial Brass Presents: A Celebration of the Music and Legacy of Mark Freeh
Imperial Brass will present a special program A Celebration of the Music and Legacy of Mark Freeh on June 22 at 7:00 PM in Ridgewood, New Jersey, in honor of Imperial Brass founding member and brass band arranger Mark Freeh.
For 26 years, Mark Freeh was the driving force behind everything Imperial Brass did. Whether arranging new pieces, bringing in guest soloists or conductors, and even producing albums, Mark was always the one leading the way.
Please join us as we pay tribute to a man who gave so much of himself to Imperial Brass for so many years. The event will feature Ronald Waiksnoris as conductor with special guest artists Philip Smith, Joe Alessi, and Warren Vaché, as well as guest conductors Torgny Hanson, Patrick Burns, Bramwell Tovey, Lawrence Markiewicz, and Anthony LaGruth. Additionally, there will also be the world premiere of a new work for brass band by composer Joseph Turrin.
