Bob Dylan Birthday Bash Duo Big Ticket
2019 BOB DYLAN BIRTHDAY BASH (PART 0NE) May 18, 7:00 PM at John Henrys Hammer Coffeehouse First Unitarian Church 90 Main St Worcester, Ma- $15 at the door - The rich legacy of songs written and recorded by Nobel winner BOB DYLAN has been explored and re-interpreted by countless artists including Dylan himself. Dylans birthday on May 24 (his 78th) gives rise to countless tributes across the land. Since 2001, Grafton native Bob Jordan has hosted Worcesters Dylan Birthday Bash for most of the intervening years, organizing the 524Band, plus a "Who's Who" of Worcester musicians into a freewheeling and Fun tribute to this important musical artist. This year, Jordan, who now lives in Rochester, NY, returns to the area for another tribute concert on May 18 at John Henrys Hammer Coffeehouse in downtown Worcester. The show begins at 7p.m. (doors open at 6:30), and promises a program that spans the Dylan pantheon, with surprising selections from the sixties to the current decade30 + tunes over 2 full Band sets. Tickets are $15 at the door.
