Roman Street LIVE in Blue Ridge!
Firefly Music Blue Ridge is proud to present an extraordinary evening of live music with the sensationally talented (and mind-blowingly good-looking!) brothers Noah and Josh Thompson, who have joined forces (and guitars) together to form Roman Street. If you were lucky enough to attend their incredible show with us last year, you know why many people told us that this was one of the absolute best concerts we've ever held in Blue Ridge!!
Once again, food will be deliciously catered by Robin Sullivan, with a delightful Spanish theme. All tickets will include Robin's legendary Gazpacho, two meat & two cheese tapas, and scrumptious chocolate churros for dessert. Bon apetit!
This concert will take place in a gorgeous private cabin, and proceeds from this concert will benefit one of our favorite local charitable organizations, Snack In A Backpack, so come on out and enjoy an amazing evening of live music and support a great cause at the same time!
Since the college years, this brotherly jam session has developed into a Billboard/iTunes charting band who many have dubbed 'the next generation' of Jazz Fusion. Roman Street, named for an old roman street in the Alps, is an internationally trained instrumental band specializing in improvisational fusion of Classical, Gypsy and Contemporary Jazz, Latin, and Nuevo Flamenco. A departure from the over-produced music that is out there today, they keep it simplethe beautifully organic sound of acoustic instruments played by talented people who love what they are doing. Whether performing as a guitar duo, or with a backing band, Roman Street astounds with music that appeals to fans of many genres.
