Rise Above Book Club: Presence
Explore each chapter of Whitney Freya's book, Rise Above: Free Your Mind One Brushstroke at a Time with Susan Korsnick, Certified Creatively Fit Coach. Over the course of 12 sessions, we will use discussion and guided intuitive painting to explore each chapter of the book.
In this session, we will focus on Presence. "From present moment awareness, we get to access the "field of pure potentiality'. In the present moment, we are not limited by our past experience, nor are we being constrained or distracted by our worry about the future. In the present, we can choose from infinite possibilities- if we learn how to stay there long enough." Whitney Freya
Bring your own canvas (16"x20" is recommended), mixed media pad (11x14 recommended), rags, cup for rinsing brushes, and a journal. Susan will provide paint, brushes, and palettes.
