AWARD-WINNING ITALIAN MENTALIST LUCA VOLPE TO BE FEATURED AT THE MAY 26 PARLOR OF MYSTERY SHOW IN LINDENHURST ON MAY 26 AT 7PM
Decorated Italian mentalist Luca Volpe will make an exclusive New York appearance at the Parlor of Mystery on May 26. Volpe will be accompanied by New Jersey magician, Vincent Mendoza and Parlor of Mystery founder and comedy magician, Mike Maione who will host the show.
Luca Volpe
Volpe has been performing mentalism and "magic of the mind" for over 25 years. He is one of the most valued mentalists in the world. He performs onboard luxury cruise liners and has entertained passengers on Celebrity Cruises, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean International and many more.
Volpe is a member of the prestigious Magic Circle in London, with the degree of Associate of the Inner Magic Circle, awarded with 'Silver Star' which is the highest recognition for his live show. He has won the Nostradamus award for "The Best Mentalist Europe." He is the recipient of the "Annemann Award" for his contributions to the art of mentalism and winner of the "Robert Houdin D'Or" as Best European Mentalist. Luca has been featured in many essential magazines and has consulted for many professional television and theatre performers.
This is his only New York appearance.
Vincent Mendoza
Vincent Mendoza is a polished performer of almost three decades with a calm, confident demeanor that will win you over, while his skills will astound and amaze. Mendoza is member of the prestigious Magic Circle in London with the designation of Associate of The Inner Magic Circle (with Silver Star), he and his magic have become much sought after. Vincent is regarded highly among his peers as an innovative thinker and creator. He has been asked to share his magic at the invitation-only "4F" gathering of the world's top close-up magicians.
Mike Maione
Producer and emcee Mike Maione will host the evening. Maione is Long Island's silliest magician and best known for family-friendly entertainment. He is one of the founders of the Parlor of Mystery and frequently produces and performs at many Parlor of Mystery shows where his magic has a decidedly more grown-up flavor. Maione also lectures and has produced magic props and routines used by performers around the world.
The Parlor of Mysterys home is the South Shore Theatre Experience in Lindenhurst. Its the perfect place to experience parlor and close-up magic. It is a small black box theater with comfortable tiered seating for 40. The Parlor of Mystery is one of many productions that take place at the South Shore Theatre Experience, which is located at 115 South Wellwood Ave. in Lindenhurst. The South Shore Theatre Experience is a non- profit organization that produces original works and theater classics as well as conducting acting classes & workshops.
Parlor of Mystery shows usually take place on the fourth Sunday of every month with different magicians performing different effects. No one under the age of 7 will be admitted.
