Wine, Cheese & Watercolor at Tompkins Corners Cultural Center
On Tuesday, May 14th from 7-9:30 pm, Tompkins Corners Cultural Center will host a free Wine, Cheese & Watercolor event to introduce its new painting instructor, Anne Johann. Participants are encouraged to bring their watercolor supplies and join in. Some materials will be supplied.
Anne is a well-known and highly regarded visual artist and teacher who exhibits regularly in the Hudson Valley and across the NY metropolitan area. Her work is currently on exhibit at Windham Fine Arts, 5380 Main St, Windham, NY.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Anne Anastasi Charitable Foundation to develop its new Visual Arts Program, this will be the first of the art classes and exhibits to be presented by TCCC.
Following this introductory event, Anne will be teaching a 6-week watercolor class for all levels at TCCC on Tuesdays from 1:30-3:30 pm, beginning May 28th, and ending July 2nd. The cost for the 6 session class is $150. A material list will be provided.
