Basics of Tinsmithing - Tin Punch Christmas Ornaments
Learn to make angel, icicles and present box ornaments using tin with Landis Valley Tinsmith Beth Feaser. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please bring: a hammer, ice pick or awl, and old scissors, wire cutters, or tin snips. All other materials are provided.
Beth Feaser, creator of the popular "Tin Lizzie" jewelry and ornaments at the Landis Valley Museum Store, has been practicing and teaching tinsmithing for decades at Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum. Visit the "Daily" page on the museum's website to find out when you can see her demonstrating her trade at the tin shop.
Cancellation Policy: All materials must be pre-purchased by the instructor; therefore, cancellations can only be refunded prior to sales-end date. Refunds can be requested through Brown Paper Tickets up to 12 hours after purchase. After that grace period and before the sales-end date, refunds will be issued via a paper check from the Landis Valley Associates, less a $20 non-refundable processing fee. Please contact landisvalley@gmail.com or 717-569-0401 to request your refund. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to insufficient registration. In that case, students can use funds already spent towards the cost of another class or receive a full refund.
