In 1984, a man shoots four black teenagers on a New York City subway train, claiming that he was being robbed.  Some called him a hero and the press dubbed him the subway vigilante. The shooting ignited a nationwide debate on crime and a citizens right to self defense. One of the teenagers talks for the first time about what happened that day.
