ARTS ENCOUNTER, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, Ages 7-10
Your young ones meet for 2 classes daily (dance and art), for 4 consecutive days, to explore, through dance, art, music, and foods from around the world - a different theme each week:
A MIDSUMMERS NIGHT DREAM: July 15 - 18
To the music of Felix Mendelssohn, young fairies dance among the moon and stars to right all mischief and bring true love together.
Monday through Thursday,
Your young dancers will explore a different story ballet each week culminating in a Thursday family performance.
The children will use improvisation, basic movement concepts, folk dance, and classical ballet to recreate the story ballets.
Your children will design and construct costumes, props, and scenery to enhance their production.
At snack time, well explore different cultures as we sample foods from around the world.
