PCSF 2019 Plays in a Daze Festival
The Playwrights' Center of San Francisco's annual Plays in a Daze Festival is the ultimate in deadline-driven, pressure-cooker creative theater! This year, see NINE world-premiere short plays created in only 24 hours!
How it works: Nine lucky playwrights, randomly drawn from a list of interested PCSF members, will be randomly paired with a director and actors and given a theme on which to write. The next day, these brand new plays will be rehearsed, then fully staged that night. From inception to production all in a day!
Plays in a Daze is our annual fundraiser event. Everyone involved donates their time to support the Playwrights' Center of San Francisco and to put on one heck of a high-energy show for one special night. The money we raise will go toward funding the rest of PCSF's programs, including scene nights, staged and developmental readings of new plays, and our end-of-year anthology production.
