KNKX's Sound Effect presents Fresh Ground Stories at The Collective
Sound Effect, KNKX's weekly storytelling show, is trying something new: we're partnering with Fresh Ground Stories, the long-running live storytelling series in Seattle, to produce a live storytelling event on June 4 from 7-9 p.m. We'll feature contributors to Sound Effect, and some new faces, telling true-life tales around the theme, Small Miracles. Tellers include Sam Blackman, Queen Mae Butters, Wolfe Maykut, Ty Reed, Obie Pressman and Paul Currington. Sound Effect host Gabriel Spitzer may even give it a whirl. This free event will take place at The Collective in Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood.
From 7-7:30 p.m., enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres, grab a beverage and mingle. The program will start at 7:30 p.m.
